Current projects
Chikwaka Dairy Cooperative
Overview:
GreenTEC Energy, in collaboration with USAID’s WE4F program, is implementing a biogas solution at Chikwaka Dairy Cooperative. The project aims to replace electric-powered milk pasteurizers with biogas-powered alternatives, promoting sustainability within the dairy industry.
Impact:
This transition will reduce energy costs and support a more eco-friendly dairy production process.
Location:
Goromonzi, Zimbabwe
Program:
USAID’s Water and Energy for Food (WE4F)
Objective:
Replace electric-powered milk pasteurizers with biogas-powered systems.
Bio-Digester for 30-Cluster Housing Project
Overview:
A modern bio-digester system is being constructed for a 30-cluster housing development in Mornington, Kadoma. The system is designed to provide a sustainable, energy-neutral solution for sewage treatment, adhering to Environmental Management Agency (EMA) effluent disposal standards.
Impact:
The bio-digester will enhance environmental sustainability for the housing project, providing a reliable and compliant sewage treatment solution.
Location:
Mornington, Kadoma, Zimbabwe
Objective:
- Implement a bio-digester system that meets regulatory standards for sewage treatment.
- Ensure energy neutrality through effective waste management.
Umguza Milk Collection Centre
Overview:
In partnership with USAID’s WE4F program, GreenTEC Energy is introducing biogas technology to the Umguza Milk Collection Centre. The project focuses on replacing traditional electric milk pasteurizers with biogas-powered units.
Impact:
The shift to biogas will foster a sustainable dairy industry by lowering energy dependence and enhancing the center’s environmental footprint.
Location:
Mbalabala, Zimbabwe
Program:
USAID’s Water and Energy for Food (WE4F)
Objective:
